For those of you who don't already know, T. Rob's home and car were hit by the EF-5 tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri, on May 22, 2011.

This website is currently undergoing a revamp as T. Rob is rebuilding all of his websites with a new computer and new software.

"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." and even thousands of years before that...

There were times when the Sith gathered in great numbers and ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. Throughout the eons, they have had many empires.

Four thousand years before the Battle of Naboo and the rise of the Empire led by Darth Sidious (also known as Palpatine of Naboo), the Jedi Knights served as protectors of the Galactic Republic, a federation of worlds bound together in represenative democracy. Though legend speaks of the Jedi's defense of the Republic, the means of that protection took many forms. The Jedi assumed the roles of diplomat, scholar, teacher, and even warrior.

Much of the history of the Jedi Knights has been lost over time and historical information about the Great Sith War comes only from a single known source: The Jedi Holocron.

This is the story of that time.

A thousand years ago (5,000 years before "Star Wars Eposide IV: A New Hope"), powerful Jedi Knights who had fallen to the Dark Side overran the Sith people and forced them to teach the secrets of dark side "magic." From then on, the Lords of the Sith delved ever further into the Dark Side of the Force, creating vast storeholds of knowledge in Sith Holocrons, research facilities, and great palaces for themselves. This great darkness had come into the galaxy, casting the worlds it ensnared into the Dark Side of the Force.

The Jedi Knights, beacons of light in a galaxy of growing shadow, united into a single, powerful force and drove the Sith to near extinction. The great libraries and palaces of the Dark Lords fell, their talismans destroyed, the very memory of them toppled. Only a select few were left intact, and the Jedi planned to study them in an effort to learn how to defeat the Sith should the Dark Lords ever return.

And now the galaxy's worst fear and the very fears of those Jedi of old have come to pass. The Sith teachings have returned, slowly spreading their seeds of destruction and power across the galaxy, calling the wicked and evil, the weak-willed and power-hungry. It is a troubling time for all, a time when the Jedi Order must once again gather together to thwart the coming darkness.

These particular stories are not of the Jedi who defended the worlds. These are the Tales of the Sith.

NOTE1(2005): As many of the diehard Star Wars gamers know, Star Wars RPG started out as a production of West End Games, which produced more than 100 books on the subject matter, was then picked up by Wizards of the Coast around the time of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, since then they've released maybe 30 books on the subject matter. Wizards of the Coast is no longer producing Star Wars RPG materials (this went official late 2005) -- they are only holding onto the licensing for the Star Wars Miniatures game. So, where does that leave us Star Wars RPGers -- playing the same things over and over? Even RPGA Living Force is being dropped at the end of 2005. So, where does that leave us Star Wars RPGers -- playing d20 Future? It's not the same thing. So, as a gift to the fans of Star Wars RPG -- I'm producing a free online supplement to the d20 version of The Star Wars Roleplaying Game by Wizards of the Coast. This supplement will include an entire era of Star Wars Expanded Universe that has yet to be included in the d20 system. Hopefully this is done in accordance with the d20 license but I'm no legal expert so it's hard to tell. To use this resource material, you are expected to purchase (if you can even still buy it) the Revised Star Wars Core Rulebook for the d20 system by Wizards of the Coast -- I will not be repeating any copyrighted information from the printed book, you WILL have to buy it to use this website. Page numbers will be provided to let you know where to find what you're looking for.

UPDATE 2007: Though Wizards of the Coast had previously claimed they weren't going to produce anymore Star Wars Role-playing Game books, they did announce at Gen Con Indy 2006 that they will be producing a new Star Wars Role-playing Game Saga Edition to be released in April 2007. This is the only Star Wars RPG book they have slated for 2007, at least at this time. They are still producing the miniatures game and their Star Wars Miniatures: Starships set came out in early 2007. This may not be the ideal situation... but hooray for our side!

UPDATE 2009: I was one of the writers for Star Wars Saga Edition Clone Wars Campaign Guide. It went on to win a Silver ENnie at Gen Con 2009.

UPDATE 2010: I was one of the writers for Star Wars Saga Edition Galaxy of Intrigue.

UPDATE 2011: Wizards ends licensing deal with Lucasfilm. Later that year, at Gen Con, Fantasy Flight Games announces it has acquired the Star Wars RPG license.

UPDATE 2012: Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG Beta released at Gen Con. Box set released at the end of the year.

UPDATE 2013: Disney buys Lucasfilm from George Lucas.

NOTE2: This website has no affiliation with Disney or Lucasfilm, Ltd., owner of Star Wars. This is purely a fan site in support of the great cultural icon known as Star Wars. Everything on this website is free for your perusal. I hope you enjoy it. Some material is based off the work of the many talented people at West End Games, Wizards of the Coast, Dark Horse Comics, BioWare Corp., Obsidian Entertainment, Fantasy Flight Games, and of course, Lucasfilm, Ltd. -- I do not take credit for their work, only for the updates and expansions to that work I have added. This website is the accumulation of many sources of knowledge about the Star Wars Universe created by George Lucas.
